The Belarusian law-enforcement authorities are interested in the taxes paid by IBA Group, co-owner and head of the broad of directors of IBA Group Syarhei Lyautseyeu told employees. The information was reported by tut.by.

"Our companies are suspected of incorrect taxpaying but we are working as usual. We are open to cooperation with inspectors and are hoping that the issue will be explained and settled soon,” Lyautseyeu said.

“The IBA case” is not connected with the other events covered in mass media, Lyautseyeu noted.

Information about IBA’s problems appeared on the evening of August 16. It was reported that senior deputy CEO of IBA Group and director general of IBA IT Park Syarhei Akulich had been detained. The rumours about Syarhei Lyautseyeu were discrepant.  The company administration was suspected of tax evasion, mass media reported. The Investigation Committee was said to be dealing with the case.
