Important guests expected in Minsk (photo)
The leaders of the Customs Union, Ukraine and the European Union will meet in the Belarusian capital today.
The summit will be held in the Independence Palace. Only journalists and organizers have already arrived there, Euroradio reporter Zmitser Lukashuk informs.
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko will arrive at about 11.15 a.m., EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton and European Commissioner for Trade Karel De Gucht will arrive 15 minutes later. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will arrive at 12 p.m. and European Commissioner for Energy Günther Oettinger – at 1.15 p.m.
Russian President Vladimir Putin will be the last leader to arrive at about 1.30 p.m.
