Income of Belarusians down 15 percent

The real cash income of Belarusian households has dropped by 15 percent in January 2009 against December 2008, the National Statistics Committee said in a statement.  The official news agency BELTA reports that last year the income of Belarus residents rose by almost 13 percent against 2007, but the global financial crisis has thwarted this positive dynamics.
