Journalist gets $600 fine in Mahilou
Journalist Ales Burakou is found guilty of violating the media laws and gets a Br6 million fine.
Ales Burakou was punished for producing and disseminating information for the German radio station Deutche Welle. The journalist was subjected to administrative punishement over the article that was published on the website of the radio station and signed by his first and last names.
Burakou did not plead guilty and is set to appeal the ruling in a higher court.
