Journalist Veranika Charkasava remembered

Veranika Charkasava, a journalist with Salidarnasc (Solidarity) newspaper, was murdered in her own apartment on October 20, 2004. The killers are still at large.
The prosecutor's office makes periodical statements about a certain "investigation", but it seems nothing more than a formality.

It makes no sense to criticize the law-enforcement agencies, because they will not find the killers under the current authorities. Unfortunately, we, the Belarusian journalists, can't do much to help the investigation, writes Salidarnasc.
