Kasmachova: Yalfimau will perform and sing even underwater!
As ERB has found out, Pyotr Yalfimau has agreed to the show prepared by Janush Yuzefovich. However, they will be performing “separately”. The Belarusian representative at Eurovision Pyotr Yalfimau will cooperate with Janush Yuzefovich. The Polish producer will arrive in Minsk one of these days to clarify the final performance. Pyotr’s director Tatstsyana Kasmachova has informed ERB about it:
“We have not seen the new project of Yuzefovich and we do not know what it will be like. He will arrive in Minsk on Tsihanovich’s demand. We do not know what he will bring. They said: “Do not worry, the artist and the producer will be separated”.
Although the attitude of Yalfimau and his director to the programme prepared by Yuzefovich is negative, Tatstsyana Kasmachova claims that it has nothing to do with their personal attitude to the Polish producer.
Tatstsyana Kasmachova: “We are not biased against Mr. Yuzefovich. However, people’s creative ideas should correspond. Yalfimau is not only the singer. He is also the author of the song. It should no be like this: “We have hired a famous producer! You have to cooperate with him”, says Tsihanovich. It is silly and presumptuous”.
The director claims that they have their own idea about the show for Pyotr’s song. However, it is impossible to prepare it within the few days left before Eurovision and they will have to bring the show Tsihanovich insists on and Yuzefovch offers to Moscow.
Tatstsyana Kasmachova: “We have decided that if Tsihanovich’s opinion is the main criterion and if our country thinks it is good – let it be! Yalfimau will perform and sing even underwater! And he will do it well. We will not be ashamed, let some other people feel shame for it”.
