Lukashenka: Some managers "can't put two words together"
The state leader has conducted a meeting dedicated to the structural and functional optimization of the state bodies.
Belarusian officials' salaries are too low, Alyaksandr Lukashenka noted.
"Some heads of enterprises are subsidized and they can't even put two words together. However, they get 20 millions a month and also get bonuses! - BelTA quotes Lukashenka. – And civil servants don't even get half of it although they do work. It is inadmissible."
But it will be possible to increase civil servants' salaries only after a staff reduction, the state leader stressed.
