Man blasts himself near shop in Babruisk
The incident occurred at about 9 p.m. yesterday. The area was encircled for several hours.
A blast occurred in Babruisk at about 9 p.m. on February 1. It happened near the shop Korzinka in Batau Street. An unknown man did it, Evening Brest reports.
A man of about fifty years old, well-dressed, bought two bottles of vodka, a bottle of wine and tangerines, the sales assistant said. He asked her to open one of the bottles and suggested drinking together. The woman says that the man said something like ‘I do not care anymore…’
The police, medics and miners arrived on the spot. The area was encircled until 12 a.m. No other blasting assemblies were found.
The man has died. Nobody else has been injured. The man’s body has been sent to an expertise.
