Many Belarusians from Canada and USA not to attend World Belarusians Congress
About 400 delegates have been invited to the Fifth World Belarusians Congress that will take place in Minsk on July 18 and 19. The leader of “Motherland” Alyaksei Marachkin has informed ERB about it.
However, many representatives of the diaspora in Canada and the USA may not come although the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has promised to give free visas to all foreign delegates.
“It seems to me that not all of them will come from, say, Canada or America. There are many reasons for it”, - noted Marachkin.
