Mazyr police chief fired for drunk driving
The Homel regional administration confirms the police commander in Mazyr was dismissed over driving under influence.
On June 21 this year Mazyr traffic police detained the chief of Mozyr police department who was driving the official vehicle. After the examination of experts it was found that he was DUI, said BELTA. An administrative report was drawn on the incident. After the official investigation was completed, it was decided to dismiss him from the police.
Incidentally, the Mazyr police department currently has vacancies not only for the position of head of the department. As Euroradio has found, there is another vacant position — of his first deputy, chief of the criminal police, as well as of another deputy — chief of the public security police.
