Ministry of Foreign Affaires works out bill on “Belarusian’s card”

The Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has approved the bill on compatriots living abroad.
People whose past is connected with Belarus and who cooperate with our country in all spheres will receive a so-called “Belarusian’s card”.

The deputy head of the migration and citizenship department of the Ministry of Internal Affaires Alyaksei Byahun informed ERB about it.

“The Ministry of Foreign Affaires initiated the elaboration of the draft. But it will not be «a Belarusian’s card” as people call it. It will be “a Compatriot’s Certificate”.

According to Byahun, the draft has already been approved by the majority of interested structures.
