National Art Museum to close at 21:00 on Thursdays

During the four Thursdays - 19th, 26th November and 3rd and 10th December, the National Art Museum will be open until 21:00, the website of the museum reports. This is done to ensure that as many visitors as possible could visit the exhibition called "From Realism to Impressionism" (Russian paintings of the second half of XIX - early XX century) from the collection of the Tretyakov Gallery.

The exposition of the "State Tretyakov Gallery" opened in Minsk on September 5 and will run until December 11th.

Majority of the Minsk museums are open until 19:00. In the National Art Museum tickets are sold until 18:30 - half an hour before closing time. Many citizens of Minsk are unhappy with this situation, saying that it is almost impossible to get to the museums after work.
