Negotiations on Ukraine held in Minsk (Photo)
The representatives of Ukraine, Russia, OSCE and the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republics met behind closed doors in Minsk.
Talks on the situation in eastern Ukraine were held on December 24 at Dipservice Hall in Minsk. They were attended by representatives of the OSCE, ex-President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma with the Ukrainian Ambassador, the Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Mikhail Zurabov arrived with the Russian Ambassador to Belarus Alexander Surikov. The meeting was also also attended by representatives of the so-called People's Republics - Denis Pushylin ("DPR") and Vladislav Deynega ("LPR").
The talks were first set to 3pm, but then they were postponed by two hours - not all participants managed to arrive on time.
Participants of the December 24 meeting said they did not plan to meet with journalists and comment on today's events.
Another meeting of the contact group is planned for December 26.
