No plans to increase pension age in Belarus
Belarus has no plans to increase the retirement age, said Anatol Novikau, the chairman of the Education, Science and Social Policy Committe of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus.
He stressed that the country's leadership has a clear position on this issue, reports BELTA.
The retirement age in Belaus, set at 55 years for women and 60 years for men, is the lowest in the world. Only three countries -- Russia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan -- have preserved it just like Belarus.
