North and South Korea exchange artillery fire
Koreas trade fire into sea in a new escalation of tension between the two states.
A few North Korean artillery shells crossed the border and fell into the water in the Yellow Sea. The South Korean authorities decided to fire back with K-9 self-propelled howitzers.
South Korea is evacuating the residents of the front-line South Korean islands now, RIA Novosti reports.
