“Phone piracy” activates in Belarus

“Beltelecam” has reported an increase in the number of cases of “phone piracy” this spring. A new wave of paid phone calls to Bulgaria, Sierra-Leone and other countries has been registered. As a result, people are charged huge sums of money. “Interfax” reports that more than 20 Minsk subscribers of “Beltelecam” have had to pay hundreds of thousands roubles in instalments in March and April.
