The annual festival was held in Yorkshire.
According to the website podrobnosti.ua, the holiday started with a traditional rally over the city streets. The rally reminded a masquerade. The participants wore various outfits and decorated their beds.
As for the race, it did not remind a masquerade. The 3,5-kilometers distance lied through the land and water.
The organizers say that the bed races have been held for nearly 50 years by now. The participants start preparations half a year before the actual date.
