Polish presidential election: Andrzej Duda wins
Sunday runoff turnout was 55.5%.
The official results of the runoff were announced in Poland on Monday evening.
43-year-old lawyer, member of the Law and Justice party and MEP Andrzej Duda got 51.55% of the vote. Incumbent Bronislaw Komorowski got 48.45% in the runoff. The difference between the two candidates was about 3%.
The runoff turnout was 55.5%.
Andrzej Duda will receive documents proving his victory at a festive ceremony on May 29. The inauguration is appointed for August 6.
