Quarter of Minskers work in private business
Every fourth Minsker works in private business. A news agency “Minsk-News” informs that about 46 thousand private entrepreneurs and more than 26 thousand legal entities are registered in the capital now. Small-scale business takes up to 16% of the whole industrial production.
The structure of private business in the economy is like this: 17.6% of enterprises are in the industrial sector, 10.4% - in construction, 45.4% - in trade and catering, 6.6% - in transport, 2.2% - in healthcare, physical educational and social welfare, 0.1% - in agriculture and 17.7% - in other trades of the economy.
