Belarus tops world Twitter trends (photo)
Twitter exploded with a discussion of the Belarusian representatives in the semifinal of “Eurovision” after the yesterday’s performance of the band Litesound.
We have reached the world top-10 trends!
The Cyrillic hashtag #Belarus was in the regional trends for the following 30 or 40 minutes – Belarusian, Ukrainian and Russian Twitter users started discussing it. Dzima Bilan and Alyaksandr Rybak also appeared among Twitter trends bit later: during and after the performances of the previous winners of the contest.
Let us remind you that Belarus also got to the top of world trends after the performance of the song “I Love Belarus” last year.
