Byalyatksi’s trial to start on November 2
The hearing will be conducted by Pershamaiski District Court (Bandareka will be the judge) in Moscow District Court.
Ales Byalyatski, head of the human rights centre “Vyasna” and vice President of the International Federation for Human Rights, will stand trial on November 2, informs Radio Liberty.
The building of the court has been changed because there are no big rooms in Pershamaiski District Court, says Valyanstin Stefanovich, deputy head of “Vyasna”. According to Stefanovich, nobody has told whether the hearing will be closed or not.
Let us remind you that head of the human rights centre “Vyasna” Ales Byalyatski is accused of major tax evasion. He is facing up to seven years of imprisonment. Byalyatski has been jailed since August 4.
