Gazeta Wyborcza reporter's case to be investigated until November 21
Andrzej Pochobut is accused of slandering the President.
The reporter of Polish Gazeta Wyborcza living in Hrodna was arrested in June and released on recognizance later.
The term of investigation was over on October 21. The journalist was not interrogated or summoned anywhere in that period, Radio Liberty reports. The investigation has been prolonged for one more month "to conduct additional investigative actions", BelTA informs.
Pochobut was accused on the basis of his articles polished by "Charter'97" and "Belarusian Partisan". He is facing up to 5 years of imprisonment or restriction of liberty.
