Homel metal fest "Mass Medium" closes
The organizers took such decision in connection with the tragic death of the Litvintroll base player Aleh Klimchanka.
"The fact that the fest will not
continue in the future - this is 100%. It will be closed. However, we will
decide whether this concert will be played till the end and whether it will
turn into a concert dedicated to Aleh, as soon as we know all the
reasons", - a famous Homel musician, organizer of the "Mass
Medium" Pavel Paulikhin says.
The festival "Mass Medium" was first conducted in 2000. The first
concert and several concerts took place in the club "Adrenalin".
After it was closed, the "Mass Medium" moved to the city culture
center. When the center was closed for reconstruction in 2010, "Mass
Medium" turned into the first open-air in Homel.
This
year, the fest returned to the re-decorated city culture center. Unfortunately,
this return ended in a tragedy.
