Journalist Alyaksandr Zyankou released
He was detained today when he was covering the strike of Barysau communal workers.
According to the information provided by the press-center of the Belarusian Association of Journalists, Zyankou was detained by the policemen of the Barysau district department of internal affairs at 9.15 a.m., when he was filmimg the strike of the "Zhyllyo" employees. They did not work for two days demanding to increase their salaries.
Zyankou was released four hours later. The policemen checked his personal belongings and deleted the video-recording. They also made an administrative offence charge.
