Shooting in downtown Minsk
A young man has opened fire on Turkmen students in
downtown
The incident occurred on Yakub Kolas Street near a building of the Savetski
district police department.
No one was injured; but one policeman had a bullet brush past his head, Volha
Yaskevich, spokesperson for the district police department, told BelaPAN.
The 19-year-old man was released from prison several months earlier under this
year’s amnesty law. He has previous convictions for theft and robbery.
