Syrian journalist: Insurgents have not demanded anything
Famous Syrian journalist Anhar Kochneva (in the photo) is going to monitor the situation personally.
A video showing two women at gunpoint in Syria appeared yesterday. One of them is Moldavian and the other is Belarusian. The Belarusian MFA claimed that they were studying the situation.
Syrian journalist Anhar Kochneva told Euroradio:
“They only published the video. They have not demanded anything yet. They will have to announce their demands. As far as I know, they have not done it yet.”
The Syrian journalist was captured by insurgents on October 10, 2012. She managed to escape in March 2013. Anhar Kochneva supports President Bashar al-Assad and the governmental army. She became one of the most popular media persons in Syria during the war and is trying to help release any captives and negotiates with both sides.
