Talachyn authorities may remove Lenin monument from central square
The monument may be moved to the town public garden.
Talachyn is considering the possibility of moving the monument to Lenin from the central square to the public garden. The question was raised at a local session of the district Council of Deputies on February 10.
The suggestion is caused by the preparation for next autumn’s Dazhynki. It has been decided to ask the town inhabitants about it, Nasha Talachynshchyna reports.
Head of the District Executive Committee Syarhei Yahorau will answer questions about the monument by phone today. Nasha Talachynshchyna will start publishing opinions and suggestions made by inhabitants of the town after February 18.
