Belarus' Victoria Azaranka has earned over one million US dollars in prize money in 2009, according to the list of the "richest" athletes released by the World Tennis Association.

Serena Williams is on the first position, having earned over $2 million. Russia's Vera Zvonaryova is the second with $1,175,000.
