Turkey is ready to cooperate with Belarus in Eastern Partnership
Turkey is ready to cooperate with Belarus in the realization of projects in the programme “Eastern Partnership” as a candidate for joining the EU.
It is said in a report of the country’s embassy. According to the diplomatic representatives, Turkey and Belarus are conducting an active dialogue and have created “a wonderful basis for mutually beneficial cooperation”.
"The turnover between the two states has increased by nine times since 2000 – the biggest growth was registered in 2007 and 2008 when the turnover increased by 60% and 51% respectively”, - is said in the report.
According to the Embassy, the turnover has also increased in 2009 regardless of the crisis.
