Ukrainian National Police: Sheremet’s case hard to solve
Invetigators have not published the suspects’ photofits so far. Nothing new has been reported in Pavel Sheremet’s case. His car was blown up when he was driving to work in Kiev on July 20.
“The crime needs to be solved to report news. However, it has not been solved so far. I am not going to share any other information because it may hinder the investigation… A lot of information has been analyzed, hundreds of people have been interrogated and the work is still in progress. However, it is clear that it will be difficult to solve this crime…” spokesperson of the Ukrainian National Police Artyom Shevchenko told Euroradio.
Investigators are studying four key leads: professional activities, personal hostility, a Russian trace and an attempt at Alena Prytula’s life (Pavel Sheremet’s common wife, the owner of the influential news website Ukrainian Pravda).
