Ukrainians to be banned from picking berries in Belarusian forests

Admission of berries-pickers to Belarus has been temporarily suspended since August 5 till September 2. This decision has been taken due to the initiative of Pinsk border detachment, informs the website tomin.by.

The Ukrainian part of the border for admission of Belarusian citizens for the seasonal berries-picking opened on July 1. The border services of both countries made an agreement in order not to deport hundreds of border-breakers who came to the territory of Belarus in search of nature's gifts.

The admission will be resumed as soon as the wild fire danger passes.
