Blast on Ukraine gas pipeline (video)
A major pipeline carrying Russian gas to Europe is hit by blast in Poltava Oblast, central Ukraine.
The Ukrainian authorities initially refuted it was an act of sabotage. The fire column was 20 meters high. 11 fire-fighting engines and dozens of people are involved in the liquidation of the consequences of this disaster.
The incident near Poltava has not affected the transit of Russian gas to Europe, UNIAN notes.
