Varlamau’s sentence may be pronounced on July 22
Fashion designer’s lawyer Pavel Pivavarchyk has told it to journalists.
The lawyer made a speech in court on June 25. He asked to acquit his client. The judge announced a break until July 5. Sasha Varlamau will make his last plea that day. They will discuss the text of the last plea together with Varlamau, Pavel Pivavarchyk told Euroradio.
Fashion designer Sasha Varlamau may be returned guilty of the following crimes: power abuse, major larceny, misappropriation and tax evasion. The prosecutor has asked to imprison him for 5 years. The designer has already been jailed for 2 years – since May 2011. His trial started in February 2013.
