Lenin district court's ruling on July 23 to sentence Belarus fashion star has come into force on August 3.
No appeal was filed by Varlamov's lawyers, Senior Aide to Minsk City Prosecutor Siarhei Balashou told BelaPAN.
On July 23 Varlamov was given a sentence of five years but permitted to serve it at home, while being required to visit a police station daily, and was freed in the courtroom. The court also ruled to confiscate all of Varlamov's property and banned him from taking managerial jobs for two years.
