Visit of EU Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner to Minsk being prepared
A visit of the EU Commissioner Benita Ferrero-Waldner to Minsk is being prepared now. Her press secretary Christiana Homan has informed that the visit has been planned but the date has not been appointed yet.
At the same time the EU Commissioner’s press secretary has refused to comment on the phone talk of Alyaksandr Lukashenka and Benita Ferrero-Waldner on May 12. She has not specified who initiated the conversation either, reports BelaPAN.
According to official information, both sides discussed “the realisation of “Eastern partnership”, the cooperation of Belarus and the EU and the issue of Ferrero-Waldner’s visit to Minsk”.
