White Lake authorities do not want to clean recreation area
32 people have signed the written demand to clean the recreation area near White Lake that has been sent to Byaroza District Executive Committee. They had collected 30 packs of garbage there before. White Lake City Executive Commute had to organize a meeting. The head of Brest Region affiliate of the Free Belarusian Trade Union Valyantsin Lazarenkau has explained everything to ERB:
Lazarenkau: "The authorities appointed the meeting for October 19, 2.30 pm. Everyone is at work at this time and four people asked me to be there. However, I was not allowed to attend the meeting. I saw a local woman being forced to refuse from her signature”.
All the people who signed the appeal left the room to express their protest. According to Valyantsin Lazarenkau, an appeal about the violation of citizens’ rights has been sent to Byaroza District Office of the Public Prosecutor.
