Women’s biathlon sprint to be held in Khanty-Mansiysk today
Belarusian Darya Domracheva competing for the Big Crystal Globe will take part in the race.
The final stage of the Biathlon World Cup will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, on March 20. Belarusian Darya Domracheva and Finn Kaisa Mäkäräinen competing for the Big Crystal Globe will take part in the sprint race. Domracheva is in the first position and is ahead of Kaisa Mäkäräinen by 28 points now.
Three personal races - sprint, pursuit and mass start – will be held in the final stage of the world championship. It will be possible to score 180 points in them. Domracheva has been in the top-3 four times and Mäkäräinen - five times in Khanty-Mansiysk.
The women’s sprint race will start at 4 p.m.
