A WWII shell was suddenly found in the soil brought to Pinsk kindergarten #40. Local rescuers learnt about it at 3 p.m. on November 18, varjag.net reports.
The shell was hidden in the flowerbed soil brought to the kindergarten earlier. It was a German mortar shell, BELTA reports.
Recsuers and investigators immediately headed for the spot. 168 children and 45 kindergarten employees were evacuated. The territory of the kindergarten was encircled by the police.
Nobody was injured. Sappers took the dangerous find away and destroyed it.
