10 people die in crush during religious holiday in India
10 people have died in a crush in Bihar state in the east of India, reports lenta.ru. At least 15 people have been taken to hospital. The crush started late on Saturday evening in Banka neighbourhood in the east of the state, 200 kilometres away from Patna - the capital of Bihar. A religious festival Navratri is being marked in India these days. According to different sources, from 30 to 40 thousand people have gathered to take part in the celebration near the local temple. According to witnesses, the panic was provoked by a report that an accident had taken place nearby. There are 4 women among the victims.
