30-year-old employee of Homel medical centre dies of pneumonia
A 30-year-old employee of the Republican scientific practical centre for radiation medicine and human ecology has died of pneumonia in Homel. The head of the healthcare department of Homel Region Executive Committee Mikalai Vasilkou has informed BelaPAN about it. It is informed that the woman’s maternity leave had ended not long before. She worked in the centre’s ultrasound diagnostic department. Other fatal pneumonia cases have already been registered in Homel Region. However, the special regional healthcare department claims that there have been no fatal swine flu cases.
