70-year-old criminals convicted for murders committed 20 years ago
The Minsk City Court has convicted three murderers for the killings committed in Minsk and the Hrodna region in the past twenty years.
Mazgar Nasibulin, 70, was found guilty of four murders and sentenced to 26 years and 11 months in prison. Evdat Karachurin, 71 was found guilty of one murder and received 25 years in jail. Mikalai Lambotski, 47 was sentenced to 4 years in prison for helping the murderers get weapons.
The gang was tracked dow last year when Nasibulin was arrested for killing a woman in the Lida district.
The Belta news agency reports that Nasibulin and Karachurin, born in Bashkiria, were first convicted in 1950s. Forty years ago, they created a gang in Bashkiria and killed nearly 20 people there.
