About 26 thousand hockey tourists arrived in Belarus without visas
The majority of hockey fans who have used the opportunity to come to Belarus without a visa are from Latvia – 7 thousand people.
Head of the State Border Committee press service Alyaksandr Tsishchanka told Euroradio about it.
Tsishchanka: “26.5 thousand tourists have used the right since April 25. 1.8 thousand people have arrived from Lithuania, 1.6 thousands – from Poland, 1.5 thousands – from Slovakia and one thousand – from the Czech Republic.”
It is possible to enter Belarus without a visa during the hockey championship. You need to have a ticket to one of the matches to be able to do it. Over 500 thousand tickets have been sold so far. Russian fans do not need visas.
