FC Porto acquires young footballer from Minsk

Trafim Melnichenka, an 18-year-old striker from the Dinamo Minsk football club, is moving to the Portuguese club Porto, according to Portuguese media. The athlete signed a three-year contract that runs until June 2028.
Initially, the Belarusian footballer will play in the reserve team under the guidance of coach Joao Brandão. Last season, Melnichenka played 37 matches for Dynamo Minsk, scoring three goals and providing five assists.
Porto is one of the most famous and prestigious football clubs in Portugal. The team has won the European Cup and the European Champions League twice (1987 and 2004), the UEFA Cup and the Europa League twice (2003 and 2011), the UEFA Super Cup (1987) and the Intercontinental Cup (1987 and 2004).
