The sewage conduit of the centralized drainage system broke at about 7 p.m. on Friday in the town of Loyeu.
More than 40 multi-apartment residential buildings and about 3 thousand private houses with 7 thousand residents were left without cold and hot water. Nearly 20 people and a dozen of technical units worked to overcome the aftermath of the accident. They dug a basin and pumped out the water. Cold and hot water supply was resumed in an hour.
The repair works were resumed on June 8, when the necessary materials were delivered from Rechytsa. The sewage conduit was repaired and set to work only on Sunday night, informs the press-office of the Ministry for Emergency Situations.
