Activist: Three Ukrainian brigades blocked by militants for over 20 days
Ukrainian soldiers of the 24th, 72nd and 79th brigades have been blocked for over 20 days and are asking the command to release them.
Head of the civil organization Pravoye Delo Dmitri Snegiryov has reported it to UNIAN. He received the information from the surrounded soldiers, he said. The 79th brigade is facing most problems near Dyakovo village now: they have been under constant fire coming from the Russian territory for two days. Grad systems and heavy artillery are being used against them.
The 72nd brigade tried to escape but did not succeed, Snegiryov also said.
Moreover, Russian artillery is being activated near the 24th brigade from Lviv Oblast, Snegiryov said. The rest of the brigade may be forced to retreat to the Russian territory, he thinks.
