A.Kabyakou: Average “incoming” gas price to be about 148 dollars in 2009
The average “incoming” gas price for Belarus will be about 148 dollars for 1 thousand cubic metres. The vice Prime Minister Andrei Kabyakou has expressed this opinion.
"Taking the oil price forecast into account, we have managed to set the gas rice for domestic consumers in January – 175 dollars for one thousand cubic metres”, - said Kabyakou.
According to him, the assessment was made by the Belarusian government. The average annual oil price forecast of 50 dollars per barrel was taken into consideration. He reminded that the gas price was calculated according to the market price formula in our country. The formula is based on the cost of mineral oil.
At the same time, the vice Prime Minister refrained from announcing the exact gas price in the first quarter of 2009 in Belarus, informs “Interfax”.
