Ales Mihalevich’s family meet with road accident

The car of Milana Mihalevich, the politician’s sister Volha and her civil husband Ihar Zenchyk met with a road accident at about 19 p.m. in Varanyanski Street. However, another car drove into the open door when the passengers were getting out.
Driving inspectors were called. However, the policemen detained and delivered the civil husband of Ales Mihalevich’s sister Ihar Zenchyk to October District Department of the Interior in the end. The guy was detained after the policemen had checked all the passengers’ documents. Ihar was not the driver of the car, it did not even belong to him. The deputy head of the movement “For Freedom” Yuras Hubarevich has informed Euroradio about it.

Hubarevich: "The road accident looked this way: the car was parked on the roadside and another car collided with the open door of the car when Mihalevich’s family were getting out. They checked everyone’s documents, detained Ihar and brought him to the District Department of the Interior. At the same time, he was not the driver of the car, it was driven by Ales Mihalevich’s sister. However, it is difficult to call it driving as the car was parked”.

According to Hubarevich, driving inspectors are inclined to return the car belonging to the Mihalevichs guilty of the accident. Surprisingly, policemen have not allowed anyone to read the report drawn up on the spot. Furthermore, Hubarevich draws attention to the attitude of the driving inspectors to Milana Mihalevich during the detention of Ihar Zenchyk.

Yuras Hubarevich: "They threatened Milana Mihalevich who wanted to be a witness and explain the situation and forbade her to approach the driving inspectors dealing with the case to give evidence”.

Hubarevich says that the policemen promised to detain Zenchyk until the morning. However, a hearing started after Ihar’s relatives arrived at the Department and sent an appeal to its head. The guy was let off. However, according to our interlocutor, he spent more than 3 hours there.
