Amaryn: Belarus expects to get another credit this year
Belarus expects to get a credit from the Eurasian Stabilization and Development Fund by the end of 2015, Minister of Finance Uladzimir Amaryn said:
"A positive decision was made at the meeting of the Fund Council in Yerevan on December 8. However, the additional issues that still need to be considered will have to be discussed.”
If the ‘optimistic’ forecast is true, Belarus will be able to get the credit by the end of 2015, Amaryn said. It is easier to get a credit from the Eurasian Stabilization and Development Fund rather than from the International Monetary Fund, he believes.
Our country needs $1.5 billion to balance the budget of 2016, the Minister of Finance noted.
