Attractions park seized from a Czech owner in Vitsebsk
A court in the north-eastern Belarusian city of Vitsebsk has ruled to expropriate 16 attractions owned by a Czech national. The businessman plans to appeal the ruling. The foreign businessman leased the attractions to an entrepreneur from Homel, who later illegally leased them to a third party. Besides, in a customs declaration, the businessman stated the lowered cost of the attractions.
Each of the Belarusians paid a fine. The court ruling comes into legal force, the attractions will become the property of the Belarusian state.
While court proceedings were in progress, the Czech tried to shift quietly his property back home but it was not possible, reports ONT.
