Average salary in Minsk reached $716 in March
The average salary in Belarus capital Minsk in March 2013 amounted to Br 6 208.7 thousand or $716 per month.
The figure was revealed by Zhanna Ramanovich, Chairwoman of the Committee on labour, employment and social security at Minsk City Hall, BELTA reports.
The top-paying spheres are financial activity (about Br 10,4 million),and industry (Br 6 million 27 thousand). The salaries in the textile and sowing industry (Br 4,7 million) and public catering (Br 3 million 145 thousand) are lower than the average level in the city.
In March, 116 Minsk organizations out of 3 000 have low salary level - less than Br 3,1 million. Among them there are 63 organizations with the communal form of ownership, 33 - with the Republican form of ownership, and 11 - with the private form.
